Equipson Work MD-82 AX MK II 8-Channel Digital Audio Mixer

MD 82 AX MK II is a mixer for microphones which integrates a large series of attractive features that allow optimizing the installation and equipping it with multiple audio signal control and management possibilities. This mixer incorporates 8 balanced inputs. It provides individual input level control and master level.

The encoder on the frontal side allows navigation through a configuration menu with different parameters on each channel. Available functions include three-band tone control, low-pass and high-pass filters (with frequency adjustment), and four anti-feedback levels. All information is shown on the LCD display.

All inputs feature a switch to enable +48V phantom power for microphones. Two notable advanced features are the Auto-mixer functionality and the RS485 interface for external commands.

MD 82 AX MK II is the natural evolution of the MD 82 AX digital mixer. Along with the features and functionality of the previous model, it incorporates Bluetooth connectivity for parameter control through its dedicated iOS application. From a remote device (iPad / iPhone), users can configure input levels and equalization.

The Auto-mixer functionality allows setting a TARGET value as the maximum channel level and a GAIN parameter defining the amplification required to reach that target. This enables multiple configuration options depending on installation requirements.

Users can set identical TARGET values across all channels for uniform microphone levels, or different TARGET values to give priority to specific channels. Gain correction occurs in real time, allowing autonomous system control once configured.

The RS485 interface allows the mixer to receive commands from external devices to adjust parameters such as minimum channel or master levels, tone controls, and activation of gain or TARGET thresholds.
